PRINCE2 Qualification

The levels of PRINCE2 qualification;

• PRINCE2 Foundation level, provides a detailed knowledge and an understanding of the methodology and terminology.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner level, provides the skills to apply the knowledge in a practical way to apply in a project situation.

The contents of the self-study;

PRINCE2 Foundation

• The PRINCE2 Foundation self-study package provides you with detailed knowledge and understanding of the methodology including the seven principles, the seven themes and the seven processes and techniques which together form the core of the PRINCE2 method.
  After this course you will be fully prepared to take the exam.

  • To fully prepare you for the PRINCE2 Foundation exam
  • To enable participants to understand and use PRINCE2 productively
  • To demonstrate the benefits and how to implement PRINCE2
  • Lay a firm Foundation knowledge to allow participants to move onto Practitioner Level

PRINCE2 Practitioner

• The PRINCE2 Practitioner course follows on the successful completion of the Foundation exam, building on the knowledge of the structure and content of PRINCE2 and turns this knowledge into an understanding of the practical application of the method which is being examined in the Practitioner paper.
  After completion of the course you will be able to;
  • Successfully complete the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam
  • Create a project definition
  • Understand the relationships between principles, processes, themes and PRINCE2 products
  • Explain in detail the 7 principles, themes and all processes
  • Tune PRINCE2 to different project circumstances
• The successful completion of the Practitioner Exams will give the participant a recognized Practitioner qualification and the ‘Registered’ Practitioner status. To retain this status each Practitioner must re-register with an exam every 3 to 5 year.
